The mobile FGX dry coal processing test unit that FGX SepTech owns is in kept in Nicholasville, Ky. Tests can be done either in Nicholasville or at mine sites designated by interested clients. Below are suggested requirements for pilot-scale FGX test,
- Particle size: minus 2.5″. To get better separation performance, the amount of fines (minus 0.25″) shall be less than 20%.
- Amount of material needed: around 3 tons;
- Surface moisture of ROM shall be less than 9%;
- 480 V, 60 A, three phase power source needed;
- Interested clients are encouraged to provide their coal washability data and particle size info. to FGX SepTech prior to pilot-scale testing.
